Something shifted in the last few months. I can feel it. The way I work with AI isn’t the same as it was six months ago. Not even close. My entire workflow has reorganized itself around agents. I spend more time designing context and steering than I do writing code. It happened fast and I didn’t notice until I looked back.

There’s a word for it. And it’s not vibe coding

It’s called Agentic Engineering
